After a really long, wet & cold winter it appears we may have missed most of spring and will be diving right into summer. C'est La Vie. I'm happy to see the sunshine, finally. Earth Day Ideas

It's a well known fact that quilters are the ultimate fabric recyclers. But if you'd like to take it a step further, here are some "green" ideas:

Here in the Pac. NW we're seeing a lot more eco-friendly cloth tote bags in grocery stores, intended to replace those flimsy plastic bags that are destined to end up floating around the Pacific or in landfills for generations. Bonus - they're a heck of a lot sturdier, too! Marcus Fabrics has a great, simple & easy project to make your own, using eco-friendly canvas fabrics, too!
